NASP National Archery Championship

May 10, 2008 Louisville KY

I'm honored to say that the Passing on the Tradition Support Group is now a part of an Historical moment in time. The 2008 NASP National Championship Archery Tournament is now the Largest Archery Event in U.S. History!!! Over 3000 children from all across the Country came to participate in the two day competition. All the kid's where representing their individual schools and States. Even a small group of 10-15 children came to represent there State of Alaska.

Hundred's of people stopped by the Support Group booth to look at the Bowfishing Equipment that was on display. And to watch the Bowfishing DVD's that we had playing on the TV. Many questions where asked about bowfishing, and how hard it was to set-up a bow to go bowfishing. We had two Geneses Bows already set-up, one with a AMS Retriever Reel, and one with a Zebco 733 Haug spinner reel. I feel confident that a lot of the youngsters that stopped by the booth will be asking their parents if they can fix up their bow's to go Bowfishing.

The Management of NASP and all the Officials and volunteers did a supper job of running such a large event, and deserve a HUGE THANK YOU.

The Support Group has already been asked to come back and be apart of the 2009 NASP National Archery Championship again next year. And we said we would be happy to return, and shair our outdoor knowledge with all the children participating in the largest archery event in U.S. History.

Below are some pictures taken during the Event.
